The Road To Nowhere.
Many a people spend their whole life dreaming, and heck, I'm one of them. But many a people who spend their whole life dreaming also end up on a Road to Nowhere. As a young child myself I have high hopes of where I want to be in twenty years. I want to be happy first and foremost and an extremely high number of adults today are anything but happy. I also want to have a job that I love. Human rights, literature, or in the arts is what I dream of. It's what I lot of people dreamed of and unfortuantly the large majority of people who dreamed these things work in cubicles.
I, myself, know that if I worked in a cubicle I'd go crazy. I need to be outside, helping and entertaining other people.
I don't want to waste my life. Life is in fact not very short, not if you live it to the fullest. And that's what I plan to do.

I am, in a certain esscence like the drawing above. I am extremely introverted and therefore often keep to myself. I have a certain innocence about me you could say. I would much rather read a book than go to a party. It's just me. I prefer solitude, something my peers don't quite understand; I'm just different. They'd rather go out and party, me? I'd rather be outside or something. Sometimes I wonder if it's normal or if I'm just weird. Which I don't mind at all, as odd people tend to be amazingly epic, but I wonder what life would be like if I wasn't so introverted.
Sometimes I feel like the world is playing a game of tug-o-war with me. As if a truck was doing the same with an ant, I am constantly fighting my way into the world while staying unique but sometimes I lose grip of that wonderful uniqueness and I get piled my way into those who are extremely similar to one another.
But I manage to keep a grip on this strange phenomenon. I must or else I will lose sight of me, myself, and I.
All in all I am determined to stay myself while enjoying the beautiful spring weather which has laid is mark upon my home.

I must say you pretty much took the words out of my mouth...(your writing is beautiful, by the way...)
Here's for hoping that the game of tug-a-war is a stalemate or a win for you. ;)
Do enjoy the spring weather! I know I am.
Well, except for the part where all the tornado sirens go off...Haha.
Aw thanks :)
I wish my teachers would understand why at this very moment I could care less about triangles when it's seventy degrees outside and I'm sitting right next to the window...
xD
:)
Yeeeeah. That's when it sucks the most to be trapped inside...
I like this. It's inspiring, insightful, whatever you want to call it. I like the pictures you matched with it.
I've been thinking/writing about these kind of things lately, BTW.
You are amazing in every way, my friend. I hope you know this. Everything about this post took my breath away. YOU take my breath away, Sara.
